Marineland: The Sequel

Well, we went to Marineland and Niagara Falls again yesterday, and this time the weather was on our side! We had a fantastic time. We hit the park about 11:00 am and left 6 hours later at 5:00 pm, exhausted from a day of hard playing and fun! Both kids hopped on all the rides and so did Mom and Dad! We saw all the shows, and even got splashed by a killer whale. After Marineland, we toured Niagara and walked down to the Falls. We hit Clifton Hills and took in the sights. We went to the Hershey Factory and WWE Niagara, and had a great supper in downtown Niagara. The kids were so excited, and we can't wait to go again next year!

Erin and Daddy on the spaceship ride at Marineland. You never would have guessed it, but Erin takes after Daddy and is the Daredevil of the family. She got on EVERY ride, and sat right in the front with Daddy and kept her eyes open the entire time. She is not like her big brother Avery, (who takes after Mommy) and hid in the middle with his eyes closed. Trust me, Erin is going to be a Roller Coaster Junkie!!!

Colleen and the kids. We couldn't get Avery to look at the Camera. Both kids were pretty cranky at this point. It was late in the afternoon, (6:30 pm) and they had spent all day at Marineland.

Well, we had a PERFECT day at the falls. They looked amazing, and a lot of people were there too! The kids were really amazed with all the water, but were upset because they were getting wet!

Well, Avery completely lucked out.....Turns out they were having the Canadian Firefighting Championships on the same day we were in Niagara Falls....Geez, this kid is destined to be a fireman!

Trip to Marineland, Niagara Falls

We took a little visit to Marineland on Saturday, and we were having a real good time until about 3 hours in when Tropical Storm Ernesto showed up and shut down the party. Avery and Erin were totally captivated by the whales and especially the Dolphins. We were only a quarter of the way through the park when the big storm hit. We couldn't even get out to see the Falls because of the wind and heavy rain. Not to worry though, we bought a season's pass for Marineland and will be going back for Avery's birthday!
